Cookey’s Mechanical, a Colorado corporation, was co-founded by Randall and Debra Cucuiat in March 1983. Originally established as Cookey’s Plumbing & Heating, the company rebranded to Cookey’s Mechanical upon incorporation in 1994.

Born during an economic downturn in Grand Junction, Cookey’s started at a time when many families were leaving the valley. With just one truck and a kitchen table for a desk, Randy took on any work he could find—including winterizing foreclosed homes for banks. Through hard work and dedication, the company steadily grew, building a reputation for reliability and craftsmanship.

Today, Cookey’s Mechanical specializes in large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical installations, custom homes, multi-family developments, high-end remodels, and plumbing service. With decades of experience and a commitment to quality, Cookey’s Mechanical continues to be a trusted name in the industry.

Cookey’s has successfully completed projects throughout western Colorado. Our installations have price ranges from several hundred dollars to several million dollars. We provides various other services for developers, contractors and real estate concerns. Included but not limited to, construction estimating, conceptual estimating, hard-bid and design build estimating, scheduling, special inspections, subcontract administration and management, budget analysis, 3D coordination, value engineering and quality control.
